Strong, rich, dark red; profound bouquet, notes of blackcurrants, mocha, black chocolate, bacon wood, hay; strong woody character on the palate, full-bodied, concentrated, still somewhat brittle tannin, woody sweetness; long finish. Still an inaccessible wine, a lump that must be pursued.
