The red wine Testamatta Toscana IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Bibi Graetz has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, slightly brightening ruby. Opens with pronounced vegetal notes, like herbal candy, then fresh, tart cherry takes over. Surprisingly clear on the palate with a core of fine raspberry notes supported by tannins of medium structure. There's good drinking flow, but it then appears quite broad-meshed in the finish and unfortunately far removed from the depth and complexity of other vintages.
