The red wine Pinot Noir, vintage 2018 from the winery Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Moselle in Germany.
Burgunder berries on the nose, also notes of black tea and a hint of peppery, dusty slate. Slight sweetness on the palate, creamy, silky tannins, very round and accessible, the well-integrated alcohol emphasises the graininess of the tannins on the finish. Well vinified with medium complexity and depth.
