Well-integrated new wood with ripe fruit and some savoury aromas: candied black cherry and white pepper. Silky and juicy on the palate, with lively acidity and an intense chalky minerality. A very elegant wine, very drinkable and excellent length. Almost too elegant to be a food companion but would suit wild fowl better than beef.
