The white wine Salentein Chardonnay Single Vineyard Plot No. 2 Finca San Pablo, vintage 2010 from the winery Bodegas Salentein has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points.
Strong, bright green yellow, silver reflections. Intense yellow tropical fruit aromas of mango and papaya, subtle wood savouriness, a hint of vanilla underneath, blossom honey. Youthful and freshly structured on the palate, ripe stone fruit notes, a hint of white nougat, round and balanced, comes from the beginnings of the Las Secuoyas project at almost 1600 metres. Completely in new wood and with full acid reduction, still a completely different style than previous vintage but shows certain ageing potential.
