The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Borgo La Stella has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby. At first a little bit cloudy on the nose, slightly varnishy, then behind it ripe cherry and plum. Grippy, fine-meshed tannin on the palate, shows good tension, firm drive on the finish.
