The red wine Fojaneghe, vintage 2012 from the winery Bossi Fedrigotti has been rated in 2017 by Sautter, Ulrich with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Lots of Cabernet Franc on the nose: a beguilingly clear and multi-layered blackcurrant fruit, subtle wood. Soft attack, crumbly, already melted tannins, emphatically juicy mid-palate, rather restrained acid backbone, a wine designed for finesse with a long-lasting aroma.
