Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Opens on the nose with rich notes of tobacco, then lots of ripe, dark cherries, elderberries, fine herbal savouriness in the background. Densely woven, fine-meshed tannin, fully coats the palate, lots of sweet fruit, plums and blackberries, lots of liquorice on the finish, long.
