Distinct new wood, bacon, nougat, also balsamic-herbal-spicy aromas, cherry, raisin, menthol. The palate is all about soft fullness and volume, the tannins are fine-grained and almost oily, the acidity is ripe, the fruit "warm" and ripe. Good length. A stunner.
