The orange wine »Ambar Macerat«, vintage 2022 from the winery Can Axartell has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Giró Ross from the region Majorca in Spain.
Brilliant amber in the glass. Multi-layered aromas of dried ripe fruit, unsulphured apricots, kumquat, candied ginger, orange blossom, sage, tarragon and pine. Good structure on the palate, with fine tannin and seamlessly integrated acidity. Salty, medium-bodied and long. Drink alone or with fish, seafood, couscous.
