Brilliant ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Opens with fine spicy notes of coriander seeds and turmeric, some tobacco, then also fine cherry, multi-layered. Hearty and gripping on the palate, shows present, rich fruit, blackberries and plums, opens with dense and pithy tannins, full-bodied and firm on the finish.
