The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOC, vintage 2008 from the winery Aldegheri has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Dindarella, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny, medium dense ruby. Shows on the nose a little bit cloudy, first wax and peach, then nice dark cherry. Ripe cherry fruit and some dried tomato characterise the palate, juicy and nice drive.
