The red wine Salina IGP, vintage 2020 from the winery Cantine Colosi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corinto nero, Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich, bright pink with cherry-red hints. Explosive aromas of iced raspberries, strawberry confit and fruit candy with a touch of lemon in the background. On the palate, initial notes of red berries, with dancing acidity, quite full-bodied, a lingering fruity, textured finish, but a touch artificial.
