The red wine 50 & 50 Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Capannelle has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with garnet highlights. Complex and layered nose, with subtle rum steeped fruit aromas, then nuances of dried rose petals and violets and a touch of fumé. The palate is juicy and with good flow, with fine-grained tannins and a long and fruity finish, still seems a bit youthful, good foresight.
