The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Capraia has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo from the region Chianti in Italy.
Bright ruby purple. Initially somewhat savoury on the nose, hints of ink and purple fruit, at the same time slightly animalistic, with a gentle red fruit finish. Good acidity and medium fruit on the palate, unfortunately quickly becomes harsh on the finish.
