Brilliant, rich ruby with violet shimmer. Shows plenty of rich, ripe fruit on the nose, with hints of plums and cassis and cigar box in the background. Clear and supple on the palate, shows plump, present fruit, gripping, dense tannins, builds well, long finish, spicy.
