The red wine Cerretalto Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Casanova di Neri has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shiny, rich ruby. Opens with light savoury notes, some cardamom seeds, then lots of fresh, dark cherry, mulberry, light truffle note in the background. Fanning out broadly on the palate, lots of ripe, juicy fruit, opens up on the back end with tightly woven, precise tannin, exceedingly long, hearty and gripping, a definite long runner!.
