Dark ruby with a subtle purple tinge. Fragrant, savoury nose, initially of candied cherries, rosemary, sage, but also freshly ground pepper, appealing and inviting. Hearty on the palate, balanced, with creamy, polished tannins, a certain drive, good flow.
