Bright, intense ruby with a slight violet shimmer. Memorable and clear nose, smells of liquorice, pine needles and blackberry, with fine dark chocolate in the background. Turns a great wheel on the palate, lots of ripe dark berry fruit, opens up with fine-meshed, very dense tannins, interwoven and long.
