The red wine Lagrein Riserva Burgum Novum DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Castelfeder has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Rich ruby violet with a black core. Intense and exciting nose, notes of ripe blackberries, some cedar wood, fine spice, cocoa in the background. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, shows beautiful play, lots of ripe berry fruit, salty, profound, gripping on the finish.
