The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Castelgiocondo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Inviting nose with lots of ripe fruit of blackberry, dark cherry and raspberry, very clear. Hearty and gripping on the palate, shows a lot of grippy tannin, builds up very well, juicy, dark berry fruit, long finish.
