The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Castello dei Rampolla has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby. Intense nose with lots of dark berryish fruit, rich blackberryish and black cherry, some black truffle in the background. Powerful and dense on the palate, builds richly, opens with hearty, dense tannin, lots of drive on the finish, a Chianti Classico to store away.
