The red wine Uve Carate FCO DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Al Castello di Buttrio has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Clear ruby with fine garnet rim. Rich nose, with ripe blackberry, dried porcini mushroom and plum. Spreads richly on the palate, hearty, vivid tannin, dark berry fruit, fine savouriness on the finish.
