The red wine Uve Carate Riserva FCO DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Al Castello di Buttrio has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points.
Dark, rich ruby with a slight violet shimmer. Opens on the nose with notes of cardamom and bay leaf, some tobacco, fine blueberry. Full-bodied and firm on the palate, shows a lot of dense, grippy tannin, hearty, bramble fruit, with a firm bite on the finish. .
