Dense, sparkling ruby; initially shows slightly smoky notes on the nose, then lots of raspberries, ripe cherries, intense and clear; lots of juicy fruit on the palate, hearty, pithy tannin with a sweet core, lots of depth, rich pressure on the finish, subtle hints of cedar wood.
