Tasting Notes
Rich, deep dark ruby with a fine garnet rim. Very intense and concentrated nose, full of blackcurrants, some tobacco, lots of blackberries and chocolate. Lots of firm, substantial tannins on the palate, gripping and hearty, plump fruit, lots of power, but the tannins are still quite rough and need more ageing.
