The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Castello di Querceto has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Colorino, Mammolo, Ciliegiolo from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, rich ruby red with a delicate purple hue. Very ripe cherries, plums and blackcurrants on the nose, with a slight chlorine aftertaste. Medium-bodied on the palate with taut acidity and present tannins, gripping, opens with notes of rich Amarena cherries, powerful on the finish.
