The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Castello Monterinaldi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Chianti in Italy.
Clear ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Lots of clear fruit, like ripe cherries, with some raspberry and fine savoury components in the background. Juicy fruit on the palate, unfolds with finely-meshed tannins, medium drive on the finish.
