Medium-bodied red; cool, somewhat rappish bouquet, notes of smoked bacon, licorice, blackberry; spicy attack on the palate, firm structure, distinctive, silky tannins, matching acidity, alcoholic sweetness; still dries slightly on the long finish. Ambitious, multi-faceted wine made from Cabernet Franc, Gamaret and Merlot, can mature.
