The white wine Fendant, vintage 2022 from the winery Cave de Canali has been rated in 2023 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chasselas from the region Salquenen - Salgesch in Switzerland.
The nose is rather restrained, with notes of citrus, pear and peach. In addition, it has subtle toasted notes and a vivid ethereal spiciness. Fresh and gripping on the palate, it has with subtle acidity, yellow fruit, citrus notes and plenty of savouriness, which continues into the long finish.
