The nose opens with creaminess and a lovely pine needle tanginess that is almost reminiscent of cypress. That subtle yarrow and bay note is still there and a note of ripe Mirabelle creeps in amidst that creaminess. The palate trumps with its vivid freshness that meets this extra texture with verve and liveliness. This is lovely, subtle, textured and complex. A.K.
