Tasting from 29.11.2021: Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach und Ursula Geiger

Brilliant ruby red. Red, fleshy fruit on the nose with ripe plums, dried cherries and goji berries. There are also some notes of smoked bacon and pepper giving savoury edge. The palate brings a vigorous acidity on the attack, leading to a juicy and fruity mid palate supported by chalky tannins. Good length.
