Intense aromas of black berry fruit with a smoky-spicy background and a pronounced minerality. The full-bodied palate is powerful and very well structured, with taut tannins and sweet blackberry and ripe cherry fruit. The immensely long finish is pleasantly fruity with a touch of salinity and pronounced oak savouriness on the aftertaste. This will benefit from further bottle ageing.
