Multi-layered bouquet of brioche, smoked bacon, ripe apple, creamy caramel and dried fruit, and with some aeration oakiness and white pepper. Delicate elegant mousse, full-bodied, substantial on the palate with fine acidity and creamy notes. The salty minerality hints at the provenance. It is very complex and has great length, and is a superb food wine.
