Rolls Royce –der sticht heraus, so imposant, so ruhig, so kantig. Der fällt regelrecht aus der Zeit und steht für sich. Souveräner, erst frischer, dann warmer, kantiger Duft, viel Hefe, Wachs, viel Mineralität. Am Gaumen wieder extraordinäre Erscheinung, schäumt und gleitet in Zeitlupe über den Gaumen, diese imposante kraftvolle Eleganz, wie hier die gelbe Frucht, die kantige Form: kalkige Mineralität, das gediegene Interior: die warmen Noten wie Hefen und Brioche, und all der polierte Glanz: die Frische, idealtypisch aufscheinen und in einer imposanten Erscheinung aufgehen, das ist Grand Cru. Kaufwarnung – es gibt nämlich kein Zurück mehr, wenn man mal davon gekostet hat (und auch nicht so viele Flaschen!).

Notes of white currant, green apple and white peach on the nose. Hints of citrus and some cookie. Crisp, fresh acidity and fine mousse on the palate. Aroma of salted lemon and yellow tropical fruit as well as apple. Subtle hints of yeast on the long, creamy finish.
