The red wine Excellence de Bois Pertuis Bordeaux AOC, vintage 2001 from the winery Château Bois Pertuis has been rated in 2006 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Bordeaux in France.
Dark, very deep color. Intense hints of rhubarb and blackberry jam on the nose, a hint of truffle, delicate tangerine peel, very delicate animal touch. Sweet on the palate, relatively soft, some cooked fruit, uncomplicated drinking wine, dark berries on the finish, already ready to drink.
