The white wine Côtes de Jura AOC Vin Jaune, vintage 2009 from the winery Château d'Arlay has been rated in 2018 by Benjamin Herzog with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Savagnin Blanc from the region Jura in France.
A combination for real connoisseurs: the oxidative Vin Jaune goes perfectly with many cheese dishes, including fondue. The wine smells intensely of dried fruits, nuts and mushrooms. On the palate, again very complex with well integrated but noticeable acidity and enormously long finish.
