Tasting Notes

88
Tasting from 28.05.2015: Martin Kilchmann, Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter

Strong red with purple reflections; still closed on the nose, leather, tar, notes of black fruit, mineral notes, depth indicated, a hint of wood; somewhat pointed attack on the palate, medium-bodied, lively, fairly crisp acidity, strong, still austere tannin; finishes dry and slightly bitter. A somewhat rustic wine, but full of character.
