The red wine »Faugères L'Ampoule«, vintage 2022 from the winery Château de la Liquière has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cinsault, Grenache from the region Faugères in France.
Some beeswax, cherry and kirsch, dark chocolate, wild plum and buttery tones. The palate builds up some drive from very fine tannins, viscous layers and strong alcohol. The acidity is ripe but provides sufficient support. Power paired with freshness.
