More about the tastingDark ruby colour, subtle brightening on the rim. Deep, sweet berry fruit on the nose, tobacco touch, roasted flavours, exotic savouriness notes. Intense and complex on the palate, with depth and textured tannins, great finesse, fruity centre, lively acid structure, blueberries, liquorice, blackberryish confit, chocolatey finish, already a great food wine with good length but should ideally be allowed to age for another ten years; a real Vin de Garde.
