Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby colour, purple reflections, opaque core, subtle brightening on the rim. Fine oak, ripe plums, blackberry confit, candied oranges and nougat; an inviting bouquet. A juicy pallet, pronounced in fruit, ripe cherries, silky tannins, mineral texture and very good balance. Some chocolate on the finish, very good length, drinking well but has certain ageing potential. It has improved greatly compared to the barrel tasting.
