Tasting Notes
Strong ruby garnet colour with ochre reflections and broader brightening at the rim. Finely spiced bouquet with nuances of blueberries and cherries. It's delicately animalistic with sun-drenched underbrush, hints of wet gravel and nougat. The palate displays substantial dark forest fruits, ripe tannins, and sweet extract. This is an intense, long lasting and sympathetic wine that can always show off, especially in great years, although it always remains a bit rustic. A big farmer with a brocade waistcoat and gold pocket watch!
