Tasting Notes
The last bottle from John Avery's cellar: deep, strong carmine garnet, deep core, fine ripe and sweet fruit on the nose, strawberry confit, dense and sweet on the palate, very persistent, distinctive tannins, still has potential. The tannins are rather rustic on the finish, yet sweet and long, a food wine.
