Tasting Notes
Intense ruby with purple reflections, subtly lighter at the rim. Nuances of blackberry, some liquorice and fine oak, with refined aromas of herbs and ripe cherry. Elegant on the palate, showing good savouriness and fine tannins, pleasant fruit and a persistent tobacco finish with subtle hints of red berry coming through on the good, long length. A Latour that is getting better and better without having to compete with the complexity of the very great years. A fantastic bottle of wine.
