The rosé wine Muse de Miraval Rosé, vintage 2018 from the winery Château Miraval has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Rolle from the region Cotes de Provence in France.
Subtle smokiness adds allure to the creamy banana and strawberry notes on the nose. The palate then opens into layer and layer of flavour: cream and strawberry, smoke and yeast, banana and redcurrant, lemon and limestone. Simply wonderful and proof that great rosé can and does evolve.
