The red wine Château Musar Rouge, vintage 2011 from the winery Château Musar has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Carignan from the region Bekaa plain in Lebanon.
Strong carmine, garnet reflections, subtle ochre rim brightening. Ripe wild berries, a hint of cassis, notes of suede, Cabernet-dominated bouquet. Juicy, elegant and balanced, well-integrated acid structure, mineral and salty, medium complexity, has reached its first drinking maturity, would easily pass as a Bordeaux, fresh and versatile.
