Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby-garnet colour, opaque centre, violet highlights, a delicate lightening at the rim. Slightly buttery, peppery, black cherry, not very open, a hint of blueberry. On the palate, the extraction is very fine; there is a high quantity of impeccably ripe, fine tannins; in the context of the vintage, the wine has a rather mild acidity. It appears unassuming, but has a great deal of substance, and that substance is of high quality. (U.S.)
