The red wine Château Poitevin, vintage 2012 from the winery Château Poitevin has been rated in 2017 by Axel Biesler, Ursula Haslauer with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Médoc in France.
Distinguished bouquet of delicately incipient ripeness, delicate toasted spice, chocolate and a good dash of blackcurrants. Uncompromising on the palate with no hint of sweetness but plenty of firm tannins. Already a pleasure as a food companion today and a promising soloist.
