Dark ruby, deep core, purple reflections, subtle orange brightening. Tobacco, herbal and spicy, in the underlay sweet wild berryish note, ripe cherries, some liquorice, but also a hint of raspberryish concentrate, candied orange zest and nougat in the background, very attractive bouquet. Deep, juicy and complex, ripe fruit nuances, firm, well-ripened tannins that are both silky and seamless, dark cherries in the finish. Elegant and just about to develop the right drinking maturity. A full-bodied, finely spiced food wine, ideal for game and braised dishes. (12/2023, drink/ store - 2050).
