Tasting from 02.06.2021: Ulrich Sautter

Light brick red with bright crimson reflections. Very closed aroma. Some almond and a hint of sweet cherry. Smooth attack, then a very round, finely textured structure, with delicate phenolics, oiliness and acidity that merges seamlessly with the body. Delicately wood-influenced in structure, with an initial opening of the aromas towards savoury in the finish, with notes of shortbread and candied fruit.
